June 26-29, 2017 Modoc Tour

SACA members and their vintage steamers invited to participate in the 2017 Modoc Tour
Ron Schroeder - Email LongEzRon@sbcglobal.net - Phone: (310) 532-3596

The 2017 Modoc tour will be taking place 26 June through 29 June 2017. This tour is normally for 1 and 2 Cylinder cars prior to 1910. However SACA members have been invited to participate with any vintage steamer. This allows all of us with the Stanley 7XX models to join the fun.

This tour will be based in Alturas California in Modoc County, which is in the Northeast corner of California. Alturas is right on Hwy 395 in case you are wondering where it is. This is rural northern California and this is a long standing and popular tour. I have been assured that the local ranchers will “have their hoses turned on for us” so water should not be a problem.

Please note that this is an Invitational Tour. Normally the invitation process is managed by Beth Schmidt of Restoration Supply Company; however Beth has graciously agreed to have me coordinate the issuance of invitations for the steam community. As both Beth and I need to have a handle on the number of participants, please let me know as soon as possible if you wish participate. I will promptly forward to you at your option via eMail or USPS the necessary information/invitation. So put this on your calendar and provide me with the information listed below.

Based on the number of Steamers that plan on attending, we will try to have a SACA get together, probably the evening of Wednesday the 28th. So help me get the word out and share this with others that may wish to join us.
For more information call or email Ron Schroeder with the information below.

Participant Information: Name, Phone number, Home:, Mobile:, Address; Make of steamer:, Model:, Year:
